The Administrative Court of Augsburg on 30 Mai Fest, that honey with pollen of genetically modified maize MON 810 is marketable. Now this pollen has been found, despite the precautions prescribed by the court in the honey the beekeeper Karl Heinz Bablok. Its total annual honey crop was affected, and on 23 September in Augsburg disposed of waste incineration.
Whether beekeepers Bablok the damage from the grower, the Bavarian State Institute of Agriculture, gets replaced, is uncertain. This year alone its analysis cost is € 746.73. The additional costs of migration, the international support effort, disposal costs for honey and mead, and the lost sales revenue and loss of earnings are, on preliminary estimates at around € 10.000, -.
